The Air Jordan 3 “Desert Elephant” remixes an original colorway of the heralded basketball sneaker. An April 2022 release by Jordan Brand, the “Desert Elephant” nods to the Jordan 3’s original, iconic “Black Cement” colorway, as it features the same color block as the original version with a few modifications. The “Desert Elephant” is complete with a black tumbled leather upper, red lower eyelets, elephant print, and black laces, just like the “Black Cement.” However, the “Desert Cement” replaces all grey elements with sandy beige accenting that gives the shoe a decidedly retro flair. Specifically, the eyelets, leather tongue, collar, inner lining, and the elephant print all appear in Desert Cement. Finishing touches include a white midsole with a visible Air bubble in the heel and a Desert Cement-colored rubber outsole. Release date: April 30, 2022
