The New Balance XC-72 “Year of the Tiger” is a colorway of the retro-modern lifestyle shoe inspired by 1970s concept cars that honors the traditional holiday. From New Balance’s “Lunar New Year” collection from 2022, the XC-72 features a split-color, nylon upper in black and brown. Black suede overlays appear on the toe, forefoot, and eyelets. An oversized leather “N” logo appears on either side of the shoe. The colorway salutes The Year of the Tiger with tiger stripe detailing on the heel. A black “NB” graphic is found on the top of the tongue.
