The Awake NY x Asics Gel-Lyte 3 “Green/White” is one of three colorways of the retro running and lifestyle shoe designed by Angelo Baque’s streetwear brand and Asics in 2022. The Awake NY and Asics pairing has proven to be a formidable one over the years, as the two brands have released several colorways of the Gel-Lyte 3 and other classic Asics models. Here, the “Green/White” modifies the shoe’s design with a white textile base. Contrasting green suede overlays appear on the upper. Awake NY’s version of the Gel-Lyte 3 retains the shoe’s original split tongue design.
