The BAPE x New Balance 57/40 “Grey” is a collaboration between the iconic streetwear brand and New Balance on the lifestyle shoe from the duo’s “Training Camp” collection. Released by BAPE and New Balance in July 2022, the New Balance 57/40 in “Grey” features signature design details from both brands on the modernized version of the sneaker based on the New Balance 574. The grey mesh upper is contrasted with black suede overlays. An oversized “N” with BAPE’s grey-based First Camo print is found on either side of the shoe. “A BATHING APE” branding appears on the lateral heel of the left shoe while an Ape Head graphic appears on the lateral heel of the right shoe.
