The New Balance 550 debuted way back in the late 1980s before returning to the scene as a lifestyle shoe in 2020. On the “Sea Salt/Team Royal,” the retro model features a Sea Salt leather upper with strategic perforations on certain panels for breathability. A Team Royal “N” logo appears on the sides, matching the royal “550” on the lateral side of the forefoot and the “NB” branding on the heel. A Team Royal leather overlay is found on the collar.
